I did a little search and here it's said that the models are compressed, while they were all standart .gmo in my case. However I might be able to do something about it, so if you can send me a couple of models from the game, I could try to use a comtype_scan bms script on them and see if any algorithm works.
If you can take a look at it. Here's some of the files:

The appear to have cmp.lzma compression, whatever the heck that is... By the file names it's obvious that they are .gmo and .gim but as it says they're compressed. I'm so close to converting these without ripping via JPCSP.

Hallelujah! You're the best man! I'll be sure to share the rips here!
Edit: IT WORKS!!!
I've made a quick .bat file to uncompress them all using your script. So now I just have to use another script/program to uncompress the .pac files then I use your script to uncompress them. It's interesting though, the gmo files say they want .tga texturse, so I just convert the .gims to .tga like it wants and then I can view the models with textures. Most the animations will even load when applying the .gmo of the animated model.
It'll take some work but I hope to share these all as soon as I can. THANKS!

The Sword Art Online models are so pretty. It makes me want to look into the manga/anime. Thanks for the Fairy Tail stuff too. it's an anime/manga I plan on watching/reading soon.
