anyone who thinks l4d2 is just "DLC content" is a fuckin idiot
gamers are so fucking spoiled now, i swear to god.
I don't want to sound like a retrofag but fucking hell I remember when you bought a game and you got what you fucking got and if you wanted anything more you went and bought the spinoffs and sequels
keep in mind that all this extra content took a hell fucking lot of work too

L4D is terrible with a controller.
Just sayin'
12-14-2009, 12:45 PM
so is TF2, but to each his own
12-14-2009, 12:49 PM
I've never played TF2 on a console, so I wouldn't know.
tbh, the only GOOD console FPSes are ones that are designed for the console they're on. For example, Halo was designed to be played with an Xbox controller, and as such, it feels natural to be using one while playing it. But since L4D, TF2, and other FPSes were originally designed for the PC, they feel odd on a controller.
Not to again mention the fact that L4D on the Xbox can't handle nearly as many zombies onscreen as he PC version, making it feel incredibly empty and boring by comparison. I haven't played the PS3 version, but the outcome is likely the same.

Aiming with a stick and moving around with the other felt really natural to me.
at least it wasnt as retarded as playing a FPS with a PS2/Dreamcast controller.
