um
what
that was a legitimate question
me and colton play all the time and I was asking if she wanted to play with us
considering the topic temporarily shifted to RTSes...
yes
that was a legitimate question aimed at the current topic at hand, which, as I recall, you were the one who shifted it there
also nobody uses PMs anyway, so
back on topic again to avoid futher useless derailment.
does L4D2 runs on the same settings as the first one?
l4d2 requires more than the first one
i could run l4d1 all on high but if i try to set everything to high in l4d2 my guns look shiney and bad
guess i'll stick to the first one then, seeing i could somehow run the early TF2.
although i have always wondered, do all half-life based games take so long to load?
On slower computers, yeah.
GMod takes forever even with no mods installed.
On my old P4, it took at least 10 minutes for TF2 to load from program opening to actually getting into a game. and that's not counting the time it takes to get find a server and download all the packages for it.
but this happens even on counterstrike. and i'm p sure it is a low specs for any given current standard pc.
I haven't played CS in forever, but all i know is that most of the HL2-based games take forever to load.
my mistake, i was refering to hl2 games.
if half-life 2 deathmatch takes a long time to load then you have a shit computer
L4D2 and L4D run about the same for me and my computer is no beast
I'd really recommend picking up L4D2 over L4D because if you've already played L4D2 (on console apparently??) L4D1 will feel like a tech demo
then its decided, i'm all in for L4D2.
PS: i just played briedly the first stage of the first campaing of L4D1.
