The belt makes him more self conscious.
Geno looks kinda awkward without the belt. I mean, in SMRPG, you can hardly make out what everything is with him, but like this, it looks like a naked guy in a cape, at least the belt takes away from that mental image.
Solink, throw my eye on yours and I think it'll be pretty sweet. I kinda like the belt.

Looks pretty great to me.
I really don't mean to sound nitpicky, but I still think the cape needs to be like solink's first one. It was all pointy and starlike, and it agreed with the style nicely
i really prefer the new cape, the old one didn't really look like a cape
The original cape looked tattered to me. :/
Well, Geno's probably been locked in some closet for however many years it's been since Super Mario RPG came out anyways
