it actually has maps from battlefield heroes.

Except for the part where they legitimately ripped off character designs, gameplay modes, and even use
the same exact sounds from TF2.
I've been hearing a lot of people say that China doesn't get Steam, so this is the only way for them to play TF2 or something
The game looks more like Battlefield Heroes because that's where the game ripped its maps. Almost everything else rips off of TF2 (except for the Striker tenth-class, which was actually more of a play on the Counter Strike generic soldier)
there was another MMOfps game that was acused of ripping of tf2 for its aesthetics and certain gameplay mechanics as well, can't really remember its name, though it was only a matter of someone making a cartoon-like game with classes~
Oh pffft, if it has toony graphics and class-based gameplay,
it's a TF2 rip-off.
Monday Night Combat
Brawl Busters
HAVE Online / MicroVolts (this is what you're probably referencing)
all of the above fit this bill.
Also it's a shame that Final Combat tries to be a rip-off

they're capable of making really interesting characters, but resort to making this the TF2 rip :C
Yeah, it is kinda sad, seeing that they're so good with the game's few more original things.
On another note:
sorry not hyped either about it.
I'll try it after church, but it looks fun and its been getting generally good feedback. What didn't you like about it? I"m just wondering as I have yet to play it.
Because it's another god damn fangame running off the TF2 hype and fandom. Wasted potential, etc.
So I played it and I found it enjoyable enough, and I could see it being more fun with multiple people. It seems its the fact that it's a fangame rather than the game itself that is getting the criticism.
Disliking the game just because it's a fangame is a silly reaction.
However, I disliked this game for three main reasons:
1. The main gameplay consists entirely of move right and shoot. There isn't any real strategy to playing, since most enemies taken down before they even become a threat of any sort. On top of this, while jumping is pretty useful for dodging attacks (as long as you're in the air, you probably won't get hurt at all), the actual aerial attacks are much too short-ranged (and just what the range is isn't particularly obvious for the shotgun attacks) and weak to be useful. I also never had to use any melee attacks, especially since your main attack will likely be enough to take most enemies down before they come close.
2. Except for the spy, who is utterly useless. His primary attack is incredibly weak, and while the cloak really does make him invisible, it also makes the enemy attacks much harder to actually dodge as they then begin to randomly fire unpredictably. And, while the insta-kill backstab for the spy is pretty nice, other classes can already do this anyways without the hassle of having to sneak up on the enemies (espcially the Soldier and Demoman). Note that I'm not complaining that the game is too hard for the Spy, but rather that the Spy even exists alongside entirely better classes. It almost feels like the designer put the Spy in simply because he exists in TF2.
3. The level designs are incredibly simplistic as well, consisting almost entirely of really open areas where there's real reason the player should be in particular locations.
Other smaller things about the game also bugged me, from the lack of online multiplayer (which is entirely possible and I'd say almost necessary for this game) to the rather boring music (when it wasn't boring, it was rather grating, thanks to being midi).
And so those are the reasons that I disliked the game. I do agree that playing with multiple people would probably have improved my experience somewhat (except maybe the fact that we'd all be cramped together on one keyboard). Nonetheless, I have rated it according to what I felt as I played it alone.
Anyhoo, huge update shipped today in celebration of Mannconomy being one year old.
Tons of new items (read as: hats), Misc Slot 2 (!), CUSTOMIZABLE LOADOUT PRESETS (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), custom-decaled items (expect being beaten to death with signs of ponies from now onward [you think I'm joking]), ability to try items from the store without buying them (eeee), and a crapton of older item fixes (Widowmaker's now useful with a -30 metal usage instead of its -60)
I guess our minds think differently, I was expecting to be beaten by penises, not ponies.
