in any case, the "TF2 community's image" is and has been always the same: bunch of people playing a shooter/making content about a shooter set in the 60's with cartooon like graphics and black humor while not taking itself seriusly.

i dont see how "spending $100 on useless virtual shit" is any worse than spending $100 on whatever useless shit you could buy irl -IE anime. it is useless, yes, but its your money at the end of the day. is not like the price tag is nothing btu a filter to prevent the item's functionality being spammed.

lets face it, the game is still fun, gaben is a multimillionaire who likes midget flash horses and we make fun out of his ass, and if you dont like it you probably are playing something else.

whenever i play tf2 My Overall Experience is getting literal 9 year olds to yell at everyone over their mics, just saying 'shut your mouth' and singing, until they are automatically muted for micspamming

then going to the chat to type:

What servers do you go on, Sonikku?

The servers I frequent normally have either 1) lots of bots on one team (most likely mine) and almost none on the other, making the game heavily unbalanced, or 2) no bots, and a few cool guys on mic. However the map rotation is crazy, because along with some good maps (2Fort, Dustbowl, Bedrooms, etc) there are those weird ones like that map where you're all Soldiers and you have to run up a hill, avoiding random objects that fall from the sky (can't remember the name).

So yeah, overall it's pretty fun

its a matter of picking a server that fits whatever you want to play, and stick to it. isnt like there are dozens of them over the place.

Actually, that depends on what you want to play Some people don't care much about the server, only the game mode, and use the "Start Playing" button. I used to do that, but now I have a juicy selection of favourites that I use.

yeah with a 3 sniper limit

i often get nice killstreaks as scout
or as medic+heavy

I solely play on TFF nowadays; Vs. Saxton Hale is good fun, and the community is actually pretty cool to be around~
