Although to be fair, Hilltop theme is better than any Sonic 3 theme.
Casino Night 1&2, Chemical Plant, Emerald Hill, Bonus Stage, Mistic Cave1&2, Race Results/Options, Boss theme, Super Sonic theme, Oil Ocean, Aquatic Ruin, Metropolis.
although i kinda hate to say that hill top was by far the worst sing on the whole game.

probably of all 3.

hydrocity zone act 2, flying battery zone

shut your mouth

you have good musical taste
those happen to be the best two tracks from the game
edit- Though Sonic 2's soundtrack is still better.
what can i say,
both games have awesome soundtracks and most of these songs really boost the gameplay wich makes them even better.

holy shit i'm about to cum all over Sonic Pocket Adventure's remixes.

Chrome Gadget is by far my fav Sonic 3 song.
Am I the only person who thinks the Icecap music is overrated?
It's not bad, but it definitely isn't the eargasm that everybody makes it out to be.
thread renamed to Gen Sonic soundtracks.

and i dont personally find it memorable.
How do you guys feel about the Sonic CD soundtrack
Sonic CD was the shit.
Sonic CD is the black sheep of the series imo.
It just doesn't seem as good as the others to me.
I like the theme song for the final final boss of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the Super Sonic battle. I like that a lot better than the final boss music in 2.

However, I think I had a lot more fun playing Sonic 2 than 3 for some reason.
I think we can all agree that the soundtracks to the originals are all vastly superior when it comes to stuff like follow your rainbow.
while I will agree with that, Escape from the City wasn't bad at all.
In fact, pretty much the entire Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack was great. I have it on my iPod.
Same with SA1, but I only have Tricky Maze on my iPod from that one.

Either way though, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the music in Sonic R outclasses nearly everything else in the rest of the series.
And I'm totally serious about that.

Agreed. I don't hate you, or the fact I'm manly enough to listen to those tracks.

Also, where is the hip-hop techno lovers out there Jet Grind fuggin' Radio's composer did the Sonic Rush and that track list was very stellar I even got some friends to actually learn to pop rock, lock, and bust the freshest to some of those tracks.

Also, I am a MJ fan and Ice Cap was always a 'cool' track to me.
Sonic Rush's tracks were decent at best for me. Jeh Jeh Rocket (preferably the Blaze mix but both were good) was the best song in the whole list.

Also the ending credits mixdown from Rush was terrible.
Interesting.
After learning this some time ago, it was easy to tell some of the POSSIBLE influences, if he really was going to compose.
Strange, he hates the way the Sega music chips sounded, but I've always found them to be some of the catchiest VG themes out there. Everyone has their tastes, I suppose.

Ah, well. I've always preferred the way the S3&K soundtrack sounds as it is. Doomsday, Death Egg, Flying Battery, the Boss themes, and Hydrocity. Can't get enough of those.
