btw i actually threw out all my drawings from sixth grade to highschool recently. they were too shitty to keep. everything else was too legendary to hold onto, but wow it's like when i was in fifth grade i was a shitty artist i don't know why i was so uninspired.

that's...awesome because i used to draw pokemon trainers like that in like 5th grade


but then in 7th grade i noticed that drawing with TINY LINES made my art look awesome but did not make it look very ken sugimori

Then I found this one about 5 pages into the note book.

I was doing a redesign of the Greek Furies, women who would torcher rapists in hell.
There was one that looked like a dog with a snake on it's back, and some sexy bitch with horns, but this one is way cooler than either of them.

I still kind of like the design, maybe I'll d something with it.

what i find funny is that basically everyone so far grow up with pokemon while i grow up with stuff like swat cats and biker mice from mars.

I still remember when Pokemon the show was introduced to the US
I was 7 or 8 at the time, and I had the day off from school because there was an insane hurricane hitting my town

it was the episode when everyone was on the SS Anne (not the one where it already sunk; it was the one before that, when Ash traded his Butterfree and then realized it was a stupid move and traded back)



I also remember that a giant tree fell down on my street and they had to get fire fighters to chop it up and free the road

oh man
those were the days~
