Last sprite for the year most likely. I figured since the last sprite was in the SSB project style, I'd blend that style into my typical style and work from there.

Any C+C before I go about adding the sword and finishing it?

This is amazing.

Looks good, but the legs seem a bit short.

He could use a little bit of a neck, right now his head looks fused to his shoulders with no separation anywhere.

How's this?

you need to move [his] left foot down. he's on his tiptoe as it is.

Ta-da~? Minor posture edits, added sword and weird tassle thingy and although I edited the wrong foot, the left is just a frontal angle, so it looks a bit different.

i'd still move it further down a pixel or two but its definitely better

This is fucking amazing. I see the problem with the foot too.

Would somebody mind showing me through an edit? I'm having a hard time seeing the problem.
