I'm willing to bet that most people who browse tSR will see a sheet or two that they'll love and would want to comment that "they're using it for a Sonic vs Mario fancawmic 3333"
and there also might be a few people who will take a look at a sheet and notice that there's some poses or frames missing and they could comment on it there instead of registering on tSR to post a topic about it
and then you could also attach a ratings system to custom sheets, so people can rate their favorites and rate what they believe has poor quality
Not to be a downer or anything, but isn't this idea just asking for spam?
Unfortunately I agree with Shadowth117. Maybe on the site update, like it was some time ago. Maybe for errors on a sheet we can create a thread about it and link every sheet with a "Report error" bottom or something like that
Add a Wii and N64 section. Don't just try and overstuff the Other section.
Also, other than that, great job on the site.

Check
this thread out ;p
Me and Ton are going to try and work out new sections from the other section later.
Comments are a big no-no in my eyes, as others have pointed out, spam becomes moderately easy and I'm not modding what is effectively 30,000 topics.
Ratings for custom sprites, possibly... I'll see.
I already had the idea for a "report" button on sheets for stolen and incomplete things, so people can point it out.
We do have a lot of ideas, so we'll see!
What about links between the multi-plataform games. For example, we have The Lion King for both SNes and Genesis. So if you're at SNes page, you can find a button to check out the Genesis version and vice-versa. Final Fantasy IV GBA, PSX and SNES too for example, but it wouldn't link to the DS version, because it's a remake, not a port.
Also, about the spam on comments and stuff, we can use those captcha (I think I misspelled it, but I believe you might got it right: those letters and numbers at random) to block the spambots or even have moderated comments (got to approve them before showing), or even register (or use the own forum login)
But remember, Ultimecia, some ports use different pallets like the Super Mario Advance games.
I know, I ripped from different versions of the same game more than once
. I'm not telling to merge them, but to have a button to go directly to the other.
In that case, I support that idea.
How about you recieve a small notification next to the User CP when someone writes on one of your forums?
It already exists, just look at the bottom left of this page and pick "Subscribe to this thread. You can chose between being e-mailed about it or instant messages (if I'm not mistaken)

Either way, if someone wanted comments on a sprite, they could just post it on the forum and get comments there. For rips, though, it really isn't needed, and all that I can see is "good rip!" which is completely pointless and just wastes space. Either that or just requests for more rips.

While a sensible idea; searching for 'Lion King' or 'Final Fantasy IV' will do this for you anyway.
