Hi, everyone that bothered to look at my Ratata Pixel Art! I'm fairly new to the forums, so correct me if I'm in the wrong Sub-Catagory.

Yeah, you're on the wrong board entirely.
The Submissions Board is fir high-quality finished pieces. Those who submit custom work on this board are well-seasoned spriters; and even then they still get critiqued.
Since you're new, it's for the best that you post work in Sprite Discussion. That way you'll get feedback, and you'll improve. I'll move this thread for you for now; but I'll be locking future wayward threads, ok?
I agree with GrooveMan.exe, but other wise from that, awsome pixel art
that looks like an horrible mix between a color reduction and a trace of a 3D image.
It's taken from a Pokémon card art.
Don't ask me how I knew this.
and i though it couldn't be worse.

I
KNEW I had seen that somewhere before.
Besides them looking too squarey, they look ok. Just try to round him up a bit, especially his ears. Oh, and the Tail is too thick. Look at the card. Only the tipp is fat, the rest is pretty thin.
why the fuck you're encouraging him to properly trace the image.
Isn't copying the image the point of Pixel Art? In the Sonic Section theres a Pixel Art version of official Blaze artwork, so I just thought that was the point..

Copying an image is not the point of ANY art. Unless it's photorealism and that's not art at all that's just trying to be a camera.
