Hello! I maybe a newbie to the board here, but I wish to contribute to this great project.
I'm not going to upload this to my DA or add transparency untill everyone here is satisfied with it.
Ugh, large Pokemon are so difficult to pose with size restrictions, but I think it looks decent. Colors were pulled from the Gold Magby sprite, since I felt those fit Magmortar better than Magmar's did.
Wow that's great. Only suggestions would be to add a little bit of white on the stomach and the left (Magmortar's right) arm cannon, and perhaps change the orange to a brighter, more yellow colour. Remember, you can pick colours outside of Magby and Magmar.
And now that I look at it, the right leg (Magmortar's left) would probably look better if it was one pixel lower / longer.
Damn Neslug at work, I like the Spiritomb the best, makes it look more dark and evil.

Hmm, I'll work with some different yellows to see what works best. Now that you have mentioned it, the orange is a bit off looking on Magmortar.
The leg...I might be able to lengthen. I'll have to shrink his thigh by a pixel to do so though, because the sprite is already pushing the limits as it is.

Is that custom?
Because I've never seen a new member whip out a custom like that.
Well, yes, it is. But I had to sorta copy the pose of the D/P/Pt sprites because of the size restriction.
But I've been spriting for a few years now, so I've had a bit of practice with scratching sprites. It just helps that I almost exclusively sprite in one of the 4 Pokemon styles.
Sorry, didn't actually fix that up today. I just went to Gamestop a few hours ago and picked up WarioWare DIY.
I'll improve upon it tomorrow, then.
EDIT:
Actually, I went ahead a picked out some new Yellows/Oranges. First on the left is the original. Which one looks better? Personally, I like the third one(colors pulled from Magmar), but what do you guys think? Also, should I choose a new red as well?
2nd or 3rd, both look nice.
I like the second. It gives a nicer contrast~
I'm gonna have to lean towards the 3rd one, I really like that yellow. And the red seems fine as it is.
Gave Armaldo a try. Are there too many colors ?
So they all have tweaked sizes, and there's GBA ; GSC ; Shiny.
Critic please.
Also, might want to edit the first post. So no useless work is done.
not 5 colors use 4 colors for your armaldo
4 colors including black and transparency
And it would be best if you made if from scratch instead of an edited one.
I agree, that looks like it's edited of an RSE sprite. If you didn't edit, try changing the pose.
Oh and can I call Kecleon?
EDIT: Too late.
