Wow, that Giratina looks REALLY G/S/C style (the colors are really helping with that), nice job.

Are we still doing pokemon sprites with a different pose, or are Gen IV and V poses fine?

You don't ask for permission. Just do it.

Is there some specific palette you have to stick to when making these, or does everyone just use their own?

You are restricted to a 56 by 56 pixel frame and a 4 color-limit including pure black and pure white (transparent), the remaining two from a specific palette. Just grab one (or more) sprites from GSC, ripped or from this topic, and use the eyedropper tool to get the colors you need.
