you can't help it if that's the biggest impact you have on people.
it's an online forum, and we don't see much of each other AT ALL. you might like other things like cooking for your dog and playing jenga, but these are not things we will immediately see. what do we see? posts. thanks. sprites. art. images.

i think of it like this: if people remember you for it and you aren't hurting anyone or being a dubmass, how is that BAD? better than being a random member number.

ALSO:
why don't you add things you also like to the design?
do you like flowers? put a flower on his head.
did you enjoy cave story? give him a cap and a gun.
did you like super mario? change his colors to match mario's or something.
or make him a her because that's just weird. heh.

This bugged me. It's a PM I got from him yesterday. Only half the message but I just quoted this part. One person doesn't like me for liking a few things. I don't spam either.

Also I think his design is perfect as-is and I didn't want to bother it. (Drawing it in different styles is fine but not alter the design, I'm a "freak" for this character so to say)

Well no I'm not talking about the drawing, if someone draws Mighty a bit differently I have no complaints (I actually enjoy what other people's take on him would be), I just don't wanna change him myself.

Again I love this. I'm very happy and wanna be friends with you.

That was actually kind of a coincidence but that's how I felt. Now you got me laughing.

You know if the PM bothered you that much, you could have just reported it. Of course you probably would have been told not to worry about it and to just ignore them but hey, you can report PMs.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Well it didn't really bother me much (I just read it and moved on, didn't give much thought), and I don't want Maneko to not like me but I'm really tired of getting complaints about some thanking I do, it's really not much more than everyone else does. If I'm enough of an "eyesore" because my name appears fairly often, well then sorry.
