Again, everyone has time to build their teams in-game form scratch, as we will be using Shoddy Battle to do our matches until we can recreate our teams in game. That being said, if you do not have access to a legit copy of DPPt/HGSS or do not have some sort of wifi that you can (reliably) connect to, you may not participate as a gym leader.
Traded Pokemon may be used as long as they were caught or bred by you, and raised solely by you. If half of your team is on HGSS and have is on DPPt that is fine, as long as you did all the dirty work. If this is the case, then make sure you can have a way to prove that they are yours (showing a trainer card from all the games the Pokemon came form will suffice). You will not be asked as a requirement to show proof, but the option is open to anyone who wishes to know. I personally wont be checking, as I know I can trust you all and a quick summary of every Pokemon is usually enough to know everything is legit.
EDIT: I am have to remove Auapigonstilts because he does not have wifi access. The fighting gym position is now open and any one is free to join it/switch to it whenever they choose.
EDIT 2: Also I am prepared to test my team on Shoddy but the program is not working for me, nor can I connect to the Shoddy Battle website. If anyone would like to help, the general problem is that every time I try to connect to the website, I get redirected to a spam advertisement site. This has actually been happening to a few websites that I can't particularly remember right now. I have ran a disc clean and such and it only happens to a select few sites. This problem started occurring once I updated my Firefox browser at the end of last week.

That is the same error I get.
EDIT: Did a Google search since this seems to be a common problem. http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57973 Not sure if anything in here works yet, but I figure I'd post it.
If our problems are the same, then this one worked for me.

Just click your operating system and follow the instructions.

Edited my post with movesets. I'm withholding the Rotom moveset for a bit longer; so I can make sure this shit works. Yes, the Haunter and Sableye movesets are godawful; but I want to see if they'll work out.

icarly viewer, do I need to make additional tweaks to my team? Well, I'll probably tweak the team a little myself, what I mean is does it follow the guidelines yet? I know my last choice is kinda bleh, just wondering.

Updated my roster with movesets in my first post. I hate how two of mine don't have moves that can cause a status effect though.
Hopefully it doesnt matter since both Wes and I have Scythers, since they are used in two different ways.

I'm afraid i cant participate. Don't have decent wifi access
03-30-2010, 03:14 PM
can someone help me make my wireless compatible with the DS?
03-30-2010, 03:43 PM
1. What type of wireless is it?
2. Is it a DSi?
2. Is it a DSi?

I think its made by Virgin Media.
I have a DS lite.

Well, if you're using Virgin's default encryption type (WPA) then you can't connect. Try setting up your router to use a WEP encryption instead.
Only DSi's can get through WPA.
