im gonna keep a diary for my hermit crab
its not written by him so its not really a diary but whatever


april 4th, 2010

a sunday

he sat in the corner for most of the day and really only moved when i put my face up to the glass to see if he was okay

i know hes nocturnal but damn he really doesnt do anything at all during the day

itd be cool if he moved his legs like he was walking or running in his sleep like a dog when theyre dreaming

i hope he does a lot tonight i set up a driftwood piece and some other stuff for him to climb on

i gave him a tomato because its easter too

name him Cobalt. most badass color ever, suitable for a pet.

a monday

what a relief he went everywhere in the tank last night

he even ate some of the tomato which i cleaned up and replaced with a piece of banana

right now hes spending the day inside the half of a coconut

he seems like a spunky crab

he's an ermit after all. give him a computer and a wow account.

no hes a crab

also i named him paulo

Hermit crabs are the only crustacean that can climb trees.

Use that.

can't believe you didn't call him dog, w/e paulo's a good name too

a tuesday

i hope paulo went out of the coconut last night but i doubt he did

when i woke up he was still in there and its got me a little concerned

probably just overreacting though

when i get home im gonna take him out and see what hes up to
