I like the bug/fighting Pokemon.

The Anteater I was talking about, its a ground/fire type, unless someone could think of anything better for it.

looks more like your average rpg monster though...

I thought of a haunter evo over lunch. Samurai armor haunted and it gets trapped inside = totally child safe pokemon.

maybe steel/ghost would be more original

I made one for a project between me and some of my buddies. It's a Ruby hack we originally worked on in early 2007, and have just recently rebooted, trying to create new and improve on the old. This is a tentative Water starter.

I did a quick colour of my designs on the previous page. It's not exactly top-class colouring, but it gives an idea.

They're pretty boring. It just looks like a plain old elephant with an umbrella attached. How would it be at all beneficial to it?

You shouldn't have to be told to colour inside the lines.

Never use pure grey ever.
I am serious. Use cool grey or warm grey, never 100% neutral.

I know, I did a quick colour, and I forgot to save the source file, so I just coloured behind the picture I posted.

I think "Umbrellephant" is a perfect Pokemon name, but the design needs to be punched up a bit.

If anyone feels like touching it up, go ahead, I've never been very good at designing fakemon.

that would make a cool pokemon, but a horrible starter
it doesn't fallow the starter "rules"
