well 1'st of all, it's either undershaded or not shaded at all.
2. The style the bricks are in looks like it's from SPM.
3. There's no bricks on top.
4. The broken version needs to look more ragged.
5. Optionaly, include a credit tag.

If you work on these, it'll look great!

And to make the sheet ultra-duper-SPECTACULAR, you should include the
background, the towers at either end, and maybe even some Epona sprites! Of course, all that is totally optional.

Update! Looks less SPM style, broken bridge is more... uh, broken.

It's just a rectangle with some slanted edges (that look like they were done poorly with the MSPaint line tool) and a brick pattern. I really don't think you need to show us this. When you make BIG progress, such as the beginning of the BG, show us.

Eddo hit the nail head on. It can use a lot more detailing and shading, this is pretty much the skeleton pretty much.

Update

the bricks are too small, and the colors are too dull. =/ keep it up tho!
