I think it could probably use some shadow on his pink shirt dropped from the jacket (on the viewers right side).

The one thing I'm not liking is how the beam katana's perspective makes it seem like it's going out and backwards

but the tip of it looks bent as hell :K

Yeah, the receiver still looks a bit out of perspective :.

You got the angle right, though

Try and slim the receiver down a bit more; it's looking a bit too big and I think that's what's causing the perspective problem :K
