It hasn't been officially announced, but it's pretty clear.

Well he was offically confirmed today along with Taskmaster, so yeah.


I like what capcom did with Akuma, made him more interesting than Shoto #2

You know, for a character in which his main ability is to copy everyone else's moves, I was expecting the Taskmaster to have less original moves and more of a mix of moves from a lot of in-game characters (not only Marvel characters!) I noticed he has a couple of Spider-Man, Captain America and Deadpool's moves.

Anyway, these are really cool unlockable characters. I hope there will be more awesome surprises for the unlockables!

Man, they should do trailers for the two DLCs Shuma-Gorath and Jill Valentine.

I just wish they had a decent amount of unlockable guys. Games these days usually limit themselves to a small amount. SFIV had a lot, but Super SFIV didn't (granted, it ADDED a lot, and it was supposed to be tournament ready right out of the box, so I guess that's a bad example). I just love the act of unlocking characters.

I think unlocking characters is a thing of the past now that competitive gaming is so much bigger. Tekken 5:DR and 6, MvC2, both Blazblue games (I don't think Unlimited characters count, even though the Unlimited versions usually play either slightly or COMPLETELY different from their counterparts), SSF4... granted, they still show up occasionally in games like Soul Calibur 4 and the original SF4, but I think eventually (and sadly), we'll be in a generation of fighting games where all characters are either DLC or out of the box. D:

Yeah, in my opinion there should be two versions of a game, the regular version and the tournament edition, which has everything unlocked already, and which comes out some time after the regular edition has been released and played to help even out a little some balancing issues.

The gap between points you need to get akuma (2000) and Taskmaster (8000) is quite huge.


Wonder if that means Hisen-Ko and Senteniel will be unloackable too. Or maybe some other bonuses.


Or maybe neither, I just think it's weird to see a 6000 point gap.
