thanks I knew one of you would do this, considering everyone at MFGG is addicted to the place and absolutely must defend it, gives me a chance to finally get this out

because, you know, it is literally impossible to hate a forum because of bad personal experience and warn people not to use it because it is fucking horrendous

Let me tell you how there was even a point in time where I would goddamn defend MFGG (fuck knows why) on this forum because I believed it were actually good

three or four fucking years, I don't even care to keep track of how many, I had wasted at that godforsaken place. It is nothing but a fucking hellhole of people looking for reasons to argue because everyone wants to be the coolest troll in the universe and repeatedly attempt to one up and beat down on other members while falling back on a group of their white knight friends, riding on popularity. The only way to "enjoy" that shithole is to fall in with a clique that spends most of its time talking about how everyone else on the forum is a fucktard and reject and betray anyone who doesn't fit in with your own group.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, this is just a FRACTION of the reasons why I hate MFGG. It is not a problem with the moderation, it is a problem with the members. I am not exaggerating when I say that literally nothing on the internet irritates me more than MFGG, a realization I made only after leaving the place because while using it nonstop I was angry 100% of the time and the only time you ever see me this angry is when people are talking about that fucking awful place. I figured I was generally just an angry person and an asshole but it turned out that these traits were only exclusive to MFGG and the moment I left the place I was pretty much a thousand times happier, as if a great weight had been lifted from my shoulders.

That community has no merit. If you actually have interest in fangames and avoid the rest of the boards, then I'd say sure, it passes. Do not so much as wander into the other boards, though, lest you wish to dive into a sea of the most hypocritically unforgiving, unfunny, unproductive scum of this earth. It is nothing more than a society of human trash who cling to their object of desire that only serves to worsen every one of them. It is an addiction that befalls anyone who attempts to integrate their self into the community, and it is one that I hope no more decent people fall into. The worst things I have witnessed in spamhaul do not even begin to amount to the uncivilized behaviour I experienced being a regular at MFGG.

Addendum: I do not encourage raiding of forums as that only makes us just as bad as those people

literally every topic is at least a group or two of really "tight" friends circlejerking and acting like the topic is their own personal PM or it's an instant messenger or something

i was fooled by the fact that some of my closer friends went there that it wasn't so bad but honestly the memberbase has just gotten worse and worse to the point where you can't enter a topic without the topic being a WHO'S THE BIGGEST TROLL competition

it also seems like whenever you help people out and do stuff for em' that they don't even appreciate it, either. it's just an immature forum full of cliques and it's not going to get any better.
