I would REALLY like to see a fight between a martial artist and someone with a gun.

And I mean in real life, not in your anime.

aikido is legitimately interesting

I did karate when I was really young. I'm an orange-belt even though I barely remember anything haha.

i took tae kwon do when i was in 7th grade, i gave up at orange belt and i just got hecka tired every day when i came home (i dont get any real strenuous exercise at all)

i've never really taken any classes but i can usually get the basic idea of stances and forms just by observing

if i didn't tire so easily i would actually try to expand my knowledge on shit

its not like the person with a gun has to aim or anything
once they are in your range they are pretty much fucked

One thing I remember from my karate classes: Don't spin around like characters in videogame does. Remember how Hwoarang spins around to make a powerful kick? That is a bad thing to do, at least in karate. My sensei would constantly lecture me not to spin around whenever I deliver an "arc" kick. You never turn your eyes off your opponent.

hwoarang uses a more "street" form of taekwondo anyways, baek would be a better person to 'reference' when it comes to tkd
