Did a comparison, and yeah, he does look like in need of a do-over.
Simple rock practice, nothing much.
Left: My rock sprites, Right: Dazz's "Machop At Work" sprite rip, Bottom: Ultimecia's pallete being in use.
Better palette, I don't understand why there is absolutely no activity in this topic?
I think it's intrest.
Anyway, I thought'd I'd give this style another go, with Metal Man, which is a sprite based off a sprite based off a character from a well-known franchise.
not entirely sure how to crit it, but something looks off. idk, the red needs more contrast for sure. i think the main issue is that, if it were a silhouette, the upper body would look like a big blob. try and distinguish the limbs and shit from each other
Eh.
Just throwing this in, ripping from WS games are a HUGE pain (like how almost everything moves faster than your character). It's incomplete, I know. >.>
And cold, hard evidence to prove it.
A ND3 Kirby overworld, courtesy of yours truly, to complete the Kirby experince during ToTw ND3 hacking experince.
Reference sprites courtesy of Dazz, the majesty of the site.
And I mean experince I mean experince, we have Angelglory's Mugshot, Angelglory's battle, and my OW. So yeah, I was wondering if this little bugger's gonna be finished, playablility wise.
So I decided to do it. C+C away.

It was much of a hassle getting his form right the first time. :/
Should I remove the extra lighting then to get that sphere-ish shade?
I suppose that could work, try removing it. And then show us how it looks like.
Should look less-buttony now.
Digging this out for activity.
It was a pain to put this together, and it's just a basic background. Go ahead and have a feild day giving C+C. I've been trying to make my own backgrounds for awhile now..
..And throwing this in for fun, thank Gorsal for the style.
Just popping in to say "keep it up!"
Nothing new, just something generic.
