There are no sprites that short in battle mode, so you could do with making it much, much taller.
TBH the style is more about the proportions than the shading.
Then hit me up on a screenshot of an ally robot in this game then, I have a lot of re-working to do.. Or I could just simply resize it by a mere 10% in Character Raiser, back to work for me then.
They're the same size as these fighters, actually. The mech Bosses/allies are chibified to a degree.
Suzuka (the character you have the screencap of) uses one of the mechs as a weapon.
Good point then. By far the resize is only just a leg. I usually make sprites from the waist up (meaning, I start from the legs, and end in the head).
I might download the rom itself so I can make a screencap of the robots in action (usually, they are weapons and enemies to a certain extent in this game.
You fight the ArkGain as a boss, as speaking
)
Resize, rehash. Personally I'm not fond of the shading, but at least it's in a more beliveable size in this style.
I thought it would be cool if I dropped this off here.
It's in a new SD Style.
It's made in Character Raiser, too.
It's complete now.
Storm Owl downgrade, WIP.
The chibi one looks p. bad tbh. The pan and pro are a bit overdetailed too.
The sprite is now finished.
Aside from the SD one and Pan and Pro overdetailed, I think this came out okay... except the beak.
Just somethin' outta the blue.
Oooh, I like. They look like in-battle sprites for a cool GBC RPG. I have a couple of problems with Zero though. His close hand doesn't look like a hand or a buster or anything, it just looks like a... thing. Some big plastic club hanging off his arm. And his chest looks different. It looks more like he's got some sort of weird bathrobe or something instead of the body armor he usually has on.
Zero was missing a few details after all...
And a sprite of myself in this style.
