Spider-man character from
Spider-man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge, released in the USA in 1992.
Only thing I didn't rip is the web he swings on, but I wasn't able to rip it, since as you swing it is rotated, and I didn't feel like ripping a different rope for every degree. I suppose I can rip it while it's straight, but even then it wouldn't be much help.
Mm... At least rip the rope as it is straight. You don't have to do every angle. If people want to have rotated sprites, they should get software with a rotation system. It's their problem, not yours.
I added the straight rope, a spider-man specific piece of HUD and his character select portrait.
Better. Now, you might need an icon.
Ok thank you, I wasn't able to find the icon template on the main site but I didn't look on the forums.
Oh, don't worry. No one ever check the forums :p
Wrong font size, just fixed it for you
Three things:
1. Here is the tileset for the webbing:
2. Spidey's missing some sprites, but instead of making you check through the game again, I was able to tile rip his moveset so just take whatever is missing from this:
You don't need to credit me for either of these, I know how annoying it is to find out you are missing stuff.
3. And are you going to do the others or are they free for anyone else?
1. Oh, I thought it was just one sprite being rotated :/
2. Thanks. I didn't use ripping software, I used screenshots. It's really easy to simply forget a few poses when using screenshots.
3. I was going to rip the other guys but I don't know when I will. If you want to rip them, go ahead.
I must say, you're all very nice. I should probably look into ripping with software, since screenshots aren't working out very well.
If you rip via screenshots, you should try Animget, it auto-saves a screen for each 10 milliseconds ;p I use it for SNes ripping, and it's real handy. Software ripping is a powerful tool, but so far I still don't have the hang of it

I don't like animget, I prefer just screencapping what I need. It gets a little tedious for capturing certain things but I prefer it.
It's a very flawed method, specially on action games. I'd never been able to rip from Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNes) without AnimGet. But do as you will

Not really.
ZSNES has a screencap menu, where you can choose "increase by one frame, take one screenshot, or take screenshot and increase by one frame", as well as mess with some settings.
Animget might be a little more efficient but I like to only capture what I need.
