ok im playing mgs1 on ps2 and it says press start after you insert disc2
it in the screen it says checking after that it says insert disc2 help.

no no no i physicly inserted disc 2 and it still says insert disc 2.
and im playing this on ps2

my ps2 reads ps2 games nicely but mgs1 disc swoping wont work.
p.s both discs work
you have to put the part with the label(the part of the disc with the pictures) facing up.
It's been years since I played the PSX version but does it let you save before you have to swap? If it does, just load it through Disc 2 (as in turn the PS2 off, put in the 2nd disc, and go from there), that should work in theory.
