any point to the topic now?
I kinda like it, but it could use improvement.
Cheers, mario11. c+c please. but so people stop complaining, can someone at least tell me a program to sprite with?
Okay let's start

One thing: The boxes shape is off. it should be wider and the corners should be smaller (plus the line breaks in the lower right one). Make the black at the top look like it's actually the boxes top, going deeper into the scene. Also, the letters are too small (or the box is too big).

The background should be darker, I guess.

Plus, you should add more things - like the 'scrollbar' at the left.

Doing a google image search for "ssbb pictochat" or the like might help you finding some references.

Another thing; you should try to arrange the sheet in a way that uses less space and looks less like you just put the seperate sprites randomly somewhere onto it. Get rid of the poorly drawn arrows.

Did i miss something?
Paint is perfectly good?
Its just a bit of a pain sometimes.
oh, and i made that stage in paint.
paint.
I make stuff in paint, and so do most people..? (some use graphicsgale, which you have to pay for)
oh right.
Everyone here uses paint. Or at-least the windows geeks. 8P

Anyways, no-one here's respecting you because your doing Pictochat.
Out of every stage in the entire stage role of SSBB, you chose the only one that requires no effort. You might wanna try something more complex than a level that requires more effort than a bunch of X5 size scribbles. Not something too complex and not something too easy.

But if your sticking with this anyways, I suggest you put shadows under the the lines so it looks more...Umm... Hold on a sec.
Putting shadows under the drawn lines will give it more of a 3D feel, like its paper hovering over a wall. Also, I suggest you get more done before showing it.
Well, I actually made this when I was like 9 so naturally I wasn't exactly going to choose an extreme stage was I?
Quote:Well, I actually made this when I was like 9
It all makes sense to me now.
What is that? Custom made or the original stage?
If is original stage, like the thread you put here "sprite discussion" not on custom/edited, it looks the original one... Pathetic!
Okay, wtf is the lines going on? The letters are different, the "example" are stupid...
Still, you did at no possible shading, if you're making custom/edited...

Sorry, but try fix THAT!
