This is brilliant.
There are things that can be improved, of course, but for scribbles, it is brilliant.

Those leaves look excellent now that they have a general lightsource, direction, and shape! I'm not trying to sugar coat or anything, but I can't really think of anything to say about it now.

There is one thing i noticed it looks like the third set of leaves has a diffrent light source
Other than that its coming along pretty good.

I don't know if this is helpful or relevant in any way, but 3 little things.
1. Shouldn't the branch on the left(outlined poorly in red) be darker?
2. It's probably not all that relevant, but it just seems like the crack with the yellow box around it should be moved to the left, unless you're trying to make that part of the bark bulge a little.
3. The shadow in cyan seems like it should be a bit bigger, perhaps.
EDIT: also, the branch on the right seems to stop abruptly.

The lightsource isn't really coming from below, diagonal, or above. Its coming from the direct left.

Actually brookie, no. The light source is coming from the upward at the left side of the page, just like Kyleglor said.

Now that I look back at it, it kinda does.
So that means the shine on the 3 tuff of leaves should be slightly adjusted/rotated.

if that is the case then a little more of the left set needs to more lighted part in yellow circle but not the part close to the actual tree. then over where the blue is would need to be a bit darker
CORRECTED
any way its still a wip so im sure the light source will be more identifiable later on

No brookie, only the farthest from the light source and possibly a few places on the trunk.

You already had the light source covered the only possible thing to do is wait for Mozzy to actually tell is where it's coming from but I'm almost positive it's diagonally from the left top of the paper.

Everyone has all ready mentioned that several times, I don't see why pointing it out again is necessary.
