So... I had an issue with the shape of the face, the eyes, the nose, the ears, the hair, the contrast, the light sources. I hope this helps.

Spent some of the day looking at anatomy books, but I still can't shade bodies.

Tried my hand at Beedle. I tried keeping his look while at the same time keeping it in Saria's style.

I'm not liking how the hair turned out.

having half of the face just be shaded makes no sense, especially when it doesn't transfer over to the body at all

hell saria's breasts(WUT) make it seem like her chin is a lightsource and beedle has no actual shading beyond his head

i honestly don't know what to say other than restart because you've got it all wrong

I got the shading idea from here, and I'll admit that I can't shade tits at all.

In my edit I tried to follow a consistent light source, located top-half right. Mark out the light source more precisely and things will be easier! Beedle's looking good!

fix those tube limbs. Our limbs aren't perfectly straight, it curves slightly.

i mean i honestly don't know how to explain it other than you're not following the facial structure at all

Saria's face looks better, but her right cheeck is dumb and that is it

ugh i don't even

beedle looks nothing like himself and saria doesn't have round orbs stuck closely together on her chest

and rib cages don't work that way

or wrists

beedle's arms are much too short and his hand is much too small
