I had loads of fun with Audiosurf.

Now there was another indie game that used your music library that was also on Steam. Anybody remember the title?

EDIT: Oh yeah, Beat Hazard.

I forgot about Audiosurf. It's pretty cheap now.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned La-Mulana

There's the original freeware version and there is one being remade for Wiiware

Let me tell you why La-Mulana is going to be a better Port/Remake than Cave Story:
a. Nigoro (formally known as GR3 Project) is mostly in charge of developing it
b. It's arranged music does not sound inferior than it's original BGM
c. Nicails is only there to localize the game here in the US.

Beat Hazard is pretty fun but be careful because it has so many things happening at once that it can easily crash your graphics card, hahahah

mine overheated at least three times when I played it :p

I actually might consider getting beat hazard for my 360 instead of my PC instead because I know I probably wouldn't be able to play with my shitty PC

also, should I consider getting shoot 1up? I played the demo of the game but I can't really decide if I truly want it.

those aren't the only games I have, I only bothered to list the indie games I actually had at the time.
And I do have non indie games, I just hardly play them at all because my computer's video card can't handle everything. My computer pretty much crashed last time I tried turning on portal (Yes, I have the game despite the fact I don't like it as much)

but yeah I'll probably end up getting fates mirror, though I'll probably get the demo before I buy sadly.
