We should have a PtSReunion in 10 years (2020), where everybody from Pixeltendo and the Spriters Resource meets up in England or something. We'd all put in money to use a hotel for the night and get rooms. During the party we'd talk about what's happened since 2010 and remember all the great ok times. We'd all bring our trophy wives (and husbands for our female members and Grooveman) and show them our old friends.

takes videogame tunes, adds a backbeat and throws a bunch of lyrics (which aren't shit, it's usually relevant to the backbeat???) over it

his latest album doesn't really adhere to this but no one really gives a fuck because the songs are still awesome, i mean he shoutouts like 30+ games from Duck Hunt to Blazblue in a song that samples Chrono Trigger

which i'll probably mention, given his latest album he's gotten more...chill. not that ran rapped aggressively, but with songs like Splash Woman and Mega Club the whole room would be moving, now you're just chillin and you're like yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaah as he raps about earthbound

though it's apples and oranges, i think you'll find ran > duane and brand0 when it comes to rapping about old videogames
...except as of late ran raps with/in front of beats from NES/SNES games you'd never really expect
