It all looks great!

If you need some references for the pig's running anims, maybe looking at the Kirby Dream Land 3 Nruffs would be useful?

I failed...

...But I figured the sprite could hop too, so it won't look as crappy. Tongue
Well, I never heard of Mappy Kids but I'll take everybody else's word that you're spriting them right haha
I love the simple style you got going here. Simple yet detailed. No problems that I see, sprite wise.
The dust looks like a bubble, and not like dust.
the mice look like monkeys but im guessing thats how they look anyways

Fixed up some stuff.

There are plenty of games that use a dust graphic similar to that one-- although I think the dust could benefit from a dip or two.

e: I'd also like to add that I love this style, but you should darken/desaturate the brown a bit on the pig thing, for the sake of the brown inside of the red.
Better?

Might be just a smidge too dark but it looks better.
the way you aliased the coin makes it look like a rounded square, you might want to look it

also instead of making the boar's dark brown darker, how about making the reddish brown darker? I think it'll balance out more.
i dont think the coin needs AA, at all.

seing as nothing else has AA.

on a second though, i dont fully get how the shape of the coin and the arrows work. are the tilted to the sides? does the coin have beveled edges?
I like the boar (or pig), but it should habe a furious expression on his face

wat.
it does.
Yeah, but I doubt that if you make an animation of it, it wont look so good with one fram change.
