I'd be up for making them if that's what it came down to.
I'd say we could go even further and change more than only the topic markers. Like the buttons ("New reply" and that stuff, I don't really like those buttons) and the forum icons and whatnot.
The new reply buttons and similar graphics already match the site.
Why change a great thing?
Why not get around to making a decent theme I like that idea I don't like this theme!
yeah, and can you (to who ever is doing it) use color to indicate each icon? it gets really confusing since they all look so similar.
