and I do have to say It looks great but I hear you have to have friends to play with for full the experience :C

Then force your friends to buy it. I have about 5 friends alone who I can tell to get it.

i literally told a friend about it the night before and he bought it with me on release day and we both enjoy the multiplayer very much

and shawn... please dont tell me you have a ROM of it and that is how you were able to screenshot that. i thouht you would legitimately buy this game. that makes me diasppointed. :- (

So, I haven't played a Dragon Quest game since I & II on the GBC (and that was a long time ago), and I'm in the RPG mood right now. So is this game drastically different from older Dragon Quests or is it relatively similar? It looks pretty sweet, so I'm probably gonna pick this thing up in the coming days. Please tell me it's the complete opposite of FFXIII.

I'm not a hater, I liked FFXIII for what it was. I'm just more in the mood for a traditional thing, rather than something that's been completely overhauled like FFXIII.

dq9 is apparently a dq3 rehash with improved everything

i never played dq3 so idk what thats saying but dq9 is awesome anyway. really old school in a lot of aspects

dq7 is still my fave, but this owns too
