Woo, my team is now:
Spades, the Level 11 Male Minstrel
Diamond, the Level 1 Female Martial Artist (May change this to Thief later, IDK)
and Hearts, the Level 1 Male Priest.
I'm not sure what class I'll make Clubs, but it seems a Damage Dealer would be pretty obvious. I leaning towards Female Mage.
SHOGUM?
YOU FUCKING PUNS STOP DOING THIS TO ME

dont forget the advanced classes :- )
so i bought an iron plate for my paladin, but it looked kinda gay. so i alchemized it into a full metal plate and it was the exact same model. feeling desprate, i upgraded it again to a gigasteel plate. its the same model. i sold it.
YEAH WELL I DIDN'T KNOW THOSE EXISTED AT THE TIME I POSTED THAT
Right now I just kicked Lleviathan's ass. Oh god, I love how the Localisers are really Savvy with Welsh and Scottish accents and slang. Gonna go and track down Abbot Jack next, but first I need to work out where to go Alchemise shit; I have so many components clogging my inventory and I've refused to sell any gear in preparation.
Oh and
Coffinwell, Dr. Phlegming, Chatarrina and the Ragin' Contagion have to be the most painful string of puns on a SINGLE subject I've ever seen in a videogame. Yes, even worse than DQMJ's constant card game references.

>my new party member dies
>reach coffinwell
>coffin follows around as dead party member
OH THE HILARITY
reset my game because i wasnt happy with my hero, will prob reset again becuase i made this one a girl and now im not sure if i like it
Subomi is my hero, though i did have trouble deciding which shorthair style to give her. Ended up going with the basic hair though.
my party:
Subomi: Minstrel (will give her mage abilties) lvl 14
Kaioken: Martial Artist lvl13
GodsHero: Warrior lvl13
Fillia: Preist lvl 5
Jar keep in mind that switching Classes will not give you a Spell carryover, levelling Mage doesn't get you a whole lot - although it means you can use all those points you put into Whip proficiency straight away (you DID choose Whips, right? Swords are lame).
i kept using sword because i was unsure what to use :I
i really screwed subomi over. everyone else is fine though.
Make 3/4 characters girls. They get no stat deductions that I'm aware of, and enemies will occasionally skip turns because they can't stop staring at yo titties.

That's not gender specific. Foes waste turns on being enthralled by my male main char all the time (who co-incidentally has the highest Style stat; so that might be related).
My Priest who's currently wearing the Slime Suit will (very rarely) stun a foe into paralysis. And it persists. If I can find a way to raise the odds of it, That could end up being very abuseable.

Well, it's kind of my own bias. I find Swords far to 'fantasy generic' to use seriously; but they're solid all-rounder weapons. A couple of quests later require sword-skills; so you need to put a few points to it I guess. But I find Whips to be more useful in the long run for a support character.
I put all my allocations into litheness, just 7 in sword usage for her actually.
I'll just job change and do everything over when i get to alltrades, i was planning on using wand/knife for her anyway.
