I thought J-dawgs liked American shit though...
No about 85% of tsr loves anime but most of them are too much in the closet or just dont say anything thus be anti-anime if someone's being a fåggot about a show or something.

are you totally unaware of their fanbases? fangirls infest the shit out of these 2 series, backsquash i havent seen though, so its probably something underrated. (i was pretty much exagerating my last post anyway)

btw i think these shows deserved to be rated to where they were because its not like there was anything else as good
i love well-made animations

i think the term "anime" is p. dumb tbqh, if you wanna say "japanese animation" then just say that. special terms are dumb and are made so that it can sound superior to other, like it's an entirely different thing (ps no it's not). that's why fatass weeaboos started referring japanese animation to anime and japanese comic books as mangas twenty or fifteen years ago

animations, be them japanese or american or french, they're just a way to tell a story, it's dumb and close minded to say that you hate them or that you hate "animes" based on a few stupid marketeable japanese animations for kids. Plus if you say that, it also means that you hate Hayao Miyazaki's works, and if you say that you hate Hayao Miyazaki's works in a serious, unironic way, you're a tool.

it's too late rokkman, and just face it, "japanese animation" is too long to say and people would prefer a shorter version for japanese cartoons.

to some people "anime" is just generally how japanese call it "cartoons" so they say it the way the japanese say it.

I'd agree but no one is going to go out of their way for a "term" terms will always be fucked up no matter what it is, especially in america.

You mean like the Sonic fanbase where they seem to up-play a game on the hope it looks good then down-play as soon as someone thinks it's cool, funny, or necessary to point out things no one ought to care about?

I don't care about fan bases, those shows I pointed out and their creators art directors voice actors, etc deserve my respect because they keep earning it season after season. I feel 'overrated' is a term I shouldn't acknowledge because when credit is due. It's due. I don't care if someone else is tired of hearing a show is good, or if idiots who can't validate why are saying it too.

If I was to believe in that kind of thinking I'd acknowledge to all of my friends who enjoy all kinds of games saying Silhouette Mirage is a terrible game. When it's really, really not. Or to be more on topic of cartoons, Hamtaro, Zoids, 6Teen, Team Galaxy, Total Drama Island.
i edited my post btw

but fanbases are what make things "overrated", but good thing you shouldnt give a shit about what fanbases do to a series
i'm pretty sure if anyone started saying 'japanese animation' they would sound like way more of a jackass than saying anime. i mean the term is pervasive enough that its not like anybody doesn't know its called anime, so its not like you can use the term to show how much better you are
'just like my japanese animes'

aka 'just like my japanese japanese animations'

"anime" and "manga" are the actual names, straight out of japan
that wasn't made up by americans or whatever
