I guess it's fog.. Smoke, maybe? I don't really know what it is, but I want it.

You can see it sort of clearly in the blacker spots. It's purple. I have no idea how people get the upper.. layer of the sprites, but you guys have done it before, and if you could do it again it would be much appreciated.
Maybe you could use some sort of emulator to block out the other layers, I don't know.
I'm just saying it would be much appreciated if someone could get the fog for me.
Thanks anyway.
Wow, I like how you missed the Requests board; situated mere centimeters above the 'New Thread' button you clicked to make this.
GJ. Moved to Requests.
If you have a savestate, i can rip that stuff for you in a couple of minutes.
Sorry.. Sorry. Really...
I'll try to look into the site more next time.
Sorry again.
That's why I was asking, my computer only allows ZSNES, and I can't get past Johnny Jone's level in that emulator, something wrong with the version, i suppose.
I google'd it, and apparently the ZSNES isn't compatible with the data beyond that point. I can beat Johnny, but I can't go on past that point. It just... dies.
Maybe I could get a savestate from there, I'll see what I can do.
I have some SMRPG savestates, will check it when I go back at home

Sorry for the belated reply.
Many thanks to you!
Is this what you were looking for?
I love that file name
Regardless
It's fine, I don't expect a warm savestate fresh from the oven straight after I posted it
I'm just happy I got the fog
Not to nitpick, but...
Why.. Why is it green
I can't remember if the sprites get darker when they're in the factory
But I'll use that instead, thanks anyway.
Much appreciated, all.

so I had to play it for a while to get there

No, it's cool. I thank you for the effort, especially.
We have the fog, that's all that matters.
That green is the transparency colour. When rendered ingame, that green is entirely invisible.
Since this request has been completed; thread locked.
I just had an idea
we could place all the completed requests in the Archives section so it'll keep this place unclogged and older requests can be seen there. What do you think?
If/When Requests does actually get separated from Sprite Discussion, it should have a Subforum for Completed Requests, yeah.
