We have a
thread for error reports. *merge*
It's a known bug in the forum software, has been around for a while but can't really be fixed without messing with things that may break others.
If you want to subscribe, clicking the corresponding checkbox when posting a reply still works I think.
It does. I've also noticed that you seem to automatically subscribe to threads that you post in often.
Dazz's last update on tSR didn't appear in the forum's news section. I'm not sure if it's automated (and thus an error) or if he just didn't add it there as it's an optional thing to do.
Many updates don't get posted on the boards, yes. As far as I know, it's not automated.
Is that a feature you'd like to see? It shouldn't be terribly difficult to whip up an automated post if people think it would be worth it (though the new site will have comments directly on the posts as well so I'm not sure if it would be 100% necessary).
I just always assumed it was automated. Would seem like a cool thing to do. Surely the comments on the update itself could just be merged with the forum? (if clicking "comment" just slapped you into the forum anyway that would also work.)
It might be currently - I'm not sure. This is more in reference to the new site. Comments will be built directly into the site but I suppose, if we get automated posting set up, we could also get comments to appear in the thread. The harder thing would be to get thread posts to appear in the comments. Not quite sure how I'd work that one out really.
I always noticed that Dazz's updates don't appear on the forums, while everybody else's do. I've thought that they post it there and then Dazz (or some kind of automated system) puts it on the site, but since Dazz is the owner he doesn't need to. Is that right, or is it optional for everyone?
The threads are optional. We make them just to let everyone know that we've updated. Dazz told me that he doesn't do it most of the time because he gets lazy.
I always do it because I want people to know that I've updated, and Ton does it
usually.

I'm not too sure about that. Black Beat Stepper is from Gunstar Heroes, the Gunstar Super Heroes boss doesn't seem to have a name in the game. I couldn't find any reliable source for that.
