you know thats its nose right

So it has no eyes? Thats just uhhhffffggggggg. I hate it even more now.
It HAS eyes, but they're perma-closed in that form. Kinda like Abra. It's like my post was entirely ignored or something D=

It sort of ruins the whole "monster" part of the series.
Considering the other 2 prolific Mons games (Dragon Warrior Monsters and Digimon) devote ENTIRE GROUPS to non-organic, humanoid, and outright mechanical monsters, I find it hard to see 'artificial' as a logical criticism.

They're not threatening and lovecraftian like in the Shin Megami Tensei games either, but that doesn't stop Pokémon being Pocket Monsters by definition.
Whoever thought Koromori's nose was an eye is as blind as Koromori himself. What the fuck did you think the "W" was?

I'm not trying to ignore people's post but to be honest I didn't even see hunter's post at first. Also I don't even see closed eyes on this thing.

What "W"?

Also I wear glasses and my computer screen isn't the best color wise so maybe that explains things?

it's suppose to look "dense" to fit with it's klutz/unaware/simple abilities
its like slowpoke, psychic but slow, it looks like a caveman bat and the heart nose/look in general is a reference to THIS

Thanking both of Jarjar's posts for stating what was so incredibly obvious :V
I still can't see them as being eyes. They are just tufts of fur to me.
Aren't they tufts of fur over the eyes??

Yes they are.

Nope because I've never played mother. Also the nose is so much more overbearing then the eyes that the eyes just kinda fade off and make them hard to see.

Derp

Thats different. They are bigger then the nose and much easier to see.
Important things in the Serebii discovery thread, I am literally just copying and pasting stuff so don't care if there are things that are a bit off:

You don't actually level up at the start of the game. Starter remains at Level 5 til the end of the tutorial bit

N battles you straight away after the Plasma speech. Lv. 7 Choroneko

Your mother gives you the running shoes as soon as you enter Route 2 Unfortunately I can't see an Auto-On option

You can't trade until you've obtained the C-Gear, and that's after beating the first Gym. As stated previously, you'll face the waiter that has the elemental monkey that has a type advantage against you.

Yet, the game lets you win easily. At the entrance of the Abandoned Land of Dreams, a girl will give you the monkey that has a type advantage against the Gymleader's.

Just got my Liberty Ticket. Can't access the island til I get to Hiun though

Did the stupid and tedious thing to transfer all 3 starters to one game. Slow progress.

The Flying-type legendary trio are Male only

Badges extracted from the game
[Image: BWBadges.png]

Some Trainers
[Image: BWTrainers01.png]

VS Pictures, seems to be all of them
[Image: BWVSPics.png]

Kanako Town
- get Starter and battle your rivals
- get Pokedex from Aaragi
- venture out to Route 1

Karakusa Town
- let Aaragi show you the PokemonCenter
- see Team Plasma speak, and fight N
- head up to Route 2, battle Belle again

Sanyou City
- battle Cheren in Pokemon School
- beat the Sanyou Gym (you can get the type advantage monkey on the Abandoned Land of Dreams on the right first)
- after you beat the Gym, Makomo will tell you about the dreamworld and the C-gear. She gives you HM01 and you can cut the tree blocking the entrance of the Abandoned Land of Dreams now
- rescue Munna from the TP grunts. Musharna appears and they leave behind the Dream Smoke for Makomo
- C-gear activated back at Makomo's place
- head out to Route 3

Shippou City
- not much here actually, just head to the Museum, the Gym is inside. You'll need to get through a little quiz in the library first though... kinda hard if you don't read Japanese becoz of the sequence you access the shelves
- when you solve the quest a doorway appears and you go down to challenge Aloe the Gymleader
- Team Plasma steals the head of the dragon fossil, Arty of Hiun Gym visits, and together with Aloe, Cheren and Belle, you go after Team Plasma in teams
- head to the Yaguruma Forest to find Team Plasma

That's how far I am now.
Tabunne shares certain traits of Chansey that it is actually on every route in Isshu. It just has a very very low chance of appearing. While walking, sometimes one patch of grass will be shaking (like the Pokeradar back in DPPt), you have higher chances of running in Tabunne in that patch when it appears. I just found one inside the Yaguruma Forest. Not sure about its catch rate but it didn't run away and I caught it in one Pokeball.

Not much of a showdown with Team Plasma. Just face a series of grunts and after you beat the last one, he returns the fossil to you. One of the 7 sages of Team Plasma appears though, named Asura.

Arrived in Hiun City now. Kinda hard to navigate around in the city with all the angling. The Sky Arrow Bridge is basically just for visual effect from what I see. No battles take place on it, you just watch the scenery pass by as you walk by.

Got on Liberty Island, just some Team Plasma grunts again guarding the way to Victini. It says a rich merchant built this big mansion to hide Victini many years ago to protect it. It's at level 15, knows Confusion, Burn-out, Endure and Quick Attack.

Oh, in case anyone was wondering, Pokédex is counted by Seeing and not Catching again

Again, as mentioned before, in the Abandoned Lot of Dreams, you face two Plasma Grunts. One with Minezumi, the other with Choroneko. Once you've beaten them, you have the Dream Smoke and get the C Gear

The Day Care CEntre is in Route 3

Battling Team Plasma in The Opening of an Underground Water Vein. It's a cave...and yes, it has Zub...I mean Koromori

You team up with Cheren in this battle. He has his starter, Level 14

You'll find the first Wild Double Battles in Route 3

Cheren gives you a Chesto Berry in Shippou City

After beating Aroe, you get given the ItemFinder

Aloe gives you a MoonStone for saving the fossil

You get TM70 from a weird guy behind a dumpster in Hiun City

You meet Iris, Belle & Atei in the Harbour at Hiun City to discuss Team Plasma but a Plasma Grunt comes and overhears

You meet Geechisu and two of the Plasma Sages in Hiun City after follow Atei to their location

In Route 4, the sinking sand is the equivilant to grass

You meet Araragi in Route 4 with Cheren. She'll give you Ultra Balls to help you on your quest. As soon as you enter Raimon City, you get confronted by Team Plasma who challenge you. There's lots of this in this game that's for sure

You get the bike for saving the bike salesman from Team Plasma in Raimon City

The VS. Recorder makes its return in this game. Same features as before

Battle Subway Map
[Image: subwaymap.png]

Sports anyone?

N takes you up on the Ferris Wheel to try and make us see his view. However, Team Plasma soon arrive and show his affiliation with them. He has Level 22 Meguroko, Level 22 Darumakka, Lv. 22 Zuruggu and a Level 22 Shinpora

Found Item
[Image: bridgelower.png]

Just an interesting tidbit I found while digging through the music data... Like what others have speculated, some places change music depending on seasons especially routes. There is no day/night music themes similar to DPPt though. Another interesting music tidbit I found... the HGSS "Team Rocket" Encounter theme. I don't know if it is used in the game though.

Belle gives you HM02; Fly when you beat her

At the end of Route 6 is an entrance to the Electric Rock Cave. Yakon comes and uses his Waribiru to remove a spider web blocking the door

N is in the cave and has teleporting minions

Belle and Araragi then come into the cave to give you assistance in removing the floating rocks. Araragi gives you the Lucky Egg

In caves, you will occassionally see dust piling up. If you stand over this area, a Pokémon such as Moguryuu will appear

Low and behold, Team Plasma are in this cave too...this game is definitely more story based than before

This cave is brutal. Battle after battle after battle

N is at the end of this cave. He has Gantoru Lv. 28, Bachuru Lv. 28, Gear Lv. 28 & Tesshiido Lv. 28

Fukiyose City is the city people thought was an airport
[Image: plane.png]

In Route 7, there's a tower, similar to Lavender Tower, Mt. Pyre and the Lost Tower; The Tower of Heavens

At the top of the Tower, you'll find Furou, the sixth gym leader. Ring the bell to cheer her up and she'll return to the gym

Right after you've beaten the sixth gym, N will appear outside unhappy with how things are. You see him shake his head and leave ranting

As you approach the end of Route 7 to access the Neji Yama cave, Cheren will appear and challenge you to a battle once more. He has a Level 33 Kenhorou, Level 33 Leperasudu, Yanakki, Baokki or Hiyakki Level 33, and Janboii, Chaobuu or Futachimaru Lv. 35
Adeku will soon appear from the cave

Adeku gives you HM03 Surf

At the end of the cave (which are actually various sets of mineshafts, you'll find Cheren and some Team Plasma goons

As soon as you've beaten the seventh gym, Belle & Cheren arrive and discuss N's three minions who quickly appear and then disappear. Cheren and Hachiku head north

In a strange castle now after beating the seventh gym
[Image: n6.png]
Enough Said (Playing Black btw)

There's quicksand in the ancient castle in the desert. Tricky to get across but just walk slowly around the edges and it'll be fine

After your quick spell in the desert where you find Gechiisu once more with Team Plasma, you need to return to Shippou. Aloe gives you the item that unlocks Reshiram/Zekrom

Geechisu meets you on the end of Cylinder Bridge and talks about N and his increasing power

Strangely, I've found Single, Double & Rotation Battles, but no Triple battles yet

The massive Department store is in Route 9
[Image: deptstore.png]

The city that varies between version is Souryuu City, the city holding the final gym

When you enter Souryuu City, Geechisu is gholding another rally. This time, Iris and Shaga are in the audience and want to assist you in stopping them

The 8th Gym is actually quite tricky

Route 10 has a run up to Victory Road in a similar manner to how Route 23 worked in Red, Green, Blue & Yellow (Kat's note: I am happy about this. I really liked how it was done way back then.)

Victory Road itself has changed to include its outside, not just its inside
[Image: victoryroad2.png]

Outside the league
[Image: pokemonleague.png]

The rooms for the Elite Four are phenomenal
[Image: elite1i.png]

After you have beaten the Elite Four, you don't face the champion as you would expect. Rather, you find N and Adeku arguing in the champion chamber. N then causes a massive ancient building to rise from the ground and attach itself to the Leage
[Image: building.png]

Cheren soon appears and both Adeku and Cheren persuade you to go into the building to stop N. However, when you arrive, the six sages of Team Plasma are there. However, before the sages converge on you, the Isshu Gym Leaders rise up to your side
[Image: gymleaders.png]
This game is pretty epic. Glad they're finally tweaking the formula.
dammit now I really want to play this game.

Game Freak definitely outdone themselves on this one.

Evolution of the Broccoli Monkey!
The ROM is boring because

1. It's in unreadable Japanese.
2. it's not on my DS

so i'll just wait til it comes out lol
