No, not really. When I try to be funny it comes out as you've described. Like most things in my life if I want to make a clear concise thought and convey it in writing, I have to be rude and and obnoxious in the way I speak. I think that' why find a lot of post here rude an unnecessary because it's the only way to classify what's a joke or, when someone is truly trying to get their point across. Also out of habit when I type I miss words and punctuation. It's something I've been trying to work on. Which is why I've been posting more often. I suppose if you were to actually speak and listen to things I say you'd find I have more sense than my posts let on.
