Jeebus..you are great at 3-D modeling. I wish I was good at that as you are. I'm curious, how do you apply your textures to your models? I've been having hell with that and getting confused on what to do : x

It's a little too crowded, imo. If you're thinking of drawing this character repetitively, you're going to have a LOT of trouble. It's just too complicated, what with the hat/head whatever, I mean you even put snakes/snake drawings on the back of his tibia covering plate.
He looks otherwise very original, my point is that you maybe tried to force on that too much.
that concept design changed so much that it kept nearly nothing from that sketch.
