either this ISNT a v1.0 rom and the site i got it from is just retarded
or suigin is a legendary troll (or we're just stupid, either one)

the only way to really know for sure is to get a copy of the actual rom copy that suigin used
and/or get a physical copy

either way, i think you guys should start looking for v1.0 roms
maybe if all of us found copies, we'd have a better chance of finding a real one, if such a thing exists.

so i was thinking that since this still had the bad spritework, it could be V1.1
but then gizmonic reminded me of lavender tone, and the music appears to be the same version, though with the flat notes that I referenced earlier, and NOT the high pitched notes. Maybe the flat notes were 1.1 and the sone was totally redone for red/blue; i dunno.

Either way, the rom I downloaded was at

I don't have an emulator right now, but I'll definitely get VisualBoy Advance and see what I can find.

so it's kind of likely that yours isn't legitimately version 1.0, then.

I know that there are a good amount of English-speaking Japanese people some places on 4chan.

That, or Japanese-speaking Americans. Either way, I'm sure that'd be the easiest place to find someone who's played the original. But no one wants to sink to that option.
