EVERY load time irritates me. All I need is one load time in Demon's souls to totally eat my controller quite literally into my mouth.
But the longest and most IRRITATING loadtime wasn't even Sonic 2006, but Darkstone for the PSone. THe looooongest fucking load time I've ever experienced. Barely got the first 2 minutes done because of THAT shit. Shittiest game I ever rented.

i'd say the same, considering the whole "woohoo its a sonic game lets play as sonic". but a 20 seconds load before, after, and sometimes even during each minigame and turn and any in game event or cutscene kills anything good that game

because who fucking gives a shit about loading times. "BAWWW I NEED TO WAIT MORE THAN 3 SECONDS TO PLAY THIS NEXT LEVEL THIS SUCKS"
me neither
but its not just the load times.

sonic unleashed manages to put 10 seconds to load 4 seconds of gameplay, plus waiting for another 10 seconds of the stage complete screen, then another 10 seconds to save, then another 10 seconds to load another 4 seconds of gameplay.
actually its not only the loading times. its the whole thing of splitting the tutorial, and the fact you do need to run though a forced tutorial, and that they give you a medal to somehow compensate it wich does nothing but add another stupid screen to auto save your game after 4 seconds of gameplay so at the end of the first stage the game asks you if you want to continue playing.
you know what fuck sonic unleashed.

the 360 version had none of these issues and was a really good game HEH
What pisses me off is that they decide to load some animation for getting off a chocobo in FFXIII instead of just doing it like every other FF game where they just get off in the same perspective you ride it.
the only time when loading times piss me off is when your playing in the middle of a game then stops it so it can load load part of a room for no random reason.
thats just about it.
Dragon Age had/has some loading issues because of memory leaks
although I guess that's what I get for sitting on my arse pretending to be a noble rogue for three hours solid
Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit takes a long time to load when the characters are beaten how they fall for like 10 minutes and then hit the ground
Oh, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has some pretty painful loading times too. Still a miraculous game though.
(NES, SNES, and N64) Cartridge games don't have load times. Francisco Cifuentes/Metaru is the coolest cat in the pool hall.

for a dude named as "commander atari" you have never heard of the commodore 64 or the zx spectrum.

Well, you got me, those games are past my time, Comrade Atari is a joint character between myself and someone older than me, who actually knows about those games. Will edit post to reflect
better thought process Francisco Cifuentes/Metaru
catridges do have load times but they are so fast you dont notice them duhhh
long corridors before boss fights are the best way to deal with loading times
fact
Megaman and Castlevania, for example?
Almost all games on the Sega Saturn. OMG some of them have bad loading times. Three seconds? Try 30 seconds. Dragon Force was pretty bad, but I love that game to death, so I can forgive it.
