I'm trying to rip some ice mixes from kirby squeak squad, but when I disabled the necesary layers, all I get is this black pannel



which makes the sprites unrippable...
does anybody know how to change the color of the black pannel?

Nintendo normaly doesnt use pure black so im pretty sure edges of your desired sprite are seperated from the black background. I couldnt tell perfectly if kirby is the same because your pic is jpeged and im too lazy to look it up. so if its off black you shouldnt need to change the color

actually, they use the same black color.... I checked...

that's a common problem regarding ripping. You'll need to find a way to change that black layer; either by hacking it into another color or going to a room where the background colors are different.

Or try another emulator.

No, seriously. Try another emulator. I've experienced Desmume myself, and it's terrible. Lags like crap, clunky layer controls, useless tile viewer, ect.

I don't know really. Just Google it! That's what I'm going to do. I need a DS emulator as well.

Edit: Okay, I tried it, but I can't get any roms to work! It keeps saying no cartrige found!

are you using version 2.6a? if that alone isn't working, try it with no$zoomer.

sorry your not the same person. how do i even do that.

you need to try no$gba. not all roms work with all emulators.

...yes, and it didn't have the ability to disable layers...
