if you spend way too much money(30k Gold) buying stuff from the Demon Merchant in Castlevania 64, you'll have to face him before the final boss, because you "didn't read the small lines in the contract you signed"

Also, there are Phantasy Star Items hidden in the boxes below the platform where you start in the Mad Space Level in Sonic Adventure 2. they do nothing, but they're there, and you can grab them.

also i'm pretty sure everyone is aware that you can get all 7 chaos emerals on the very first stage of sonic 2.

Every town in Pokemon Red/Green/Yellow is named after a color right?
Lavender, Viridian, Cerulean...
One might say, a whole Pallet of colors?

Speaking of Castlevania 64, the character Charlie Vincent may have been named after two characters from the movie Fright Night (which is a vampire movie): Charlie Brewster and Peter Vincent. I say may have since I don't remember if anyone at Konami has said anything about it, or if it's a coincidence.

wasn't that the same with the towns in gold/silver/crystal/HG/SS? I know everyone knows about the first games but I want to clairify this for the second gen.
Gen 2 is named after trees and flowers.
The first town is named "New Bark", which signifies the beginning of an adventure.
that first gen is actually pretty cool, I never thought of pallet town being related to anything. Do they do this in 3rd o 4th gen?
they did in second gen, they named them after trees and flowers
I always thought pallet town and the rest being named after colors was obvious (it was supposed to be)
i dont think 3rd and 4th had a specific naming scheme, though
also baegal i love your new sig+avatar combo

I never really noticed it until a couple of months ago. People generally don't pay too much attention to the town names. :U

I thought the third generation was based on tropical/safari themes.
beyond me though.
naw, in Gen 3 and 4, they make an honest attempt to have the names match the nature of the towns/cities they describe - some slightly less obvious than others. Sootopolis City being inside the caldera of an extinct volcano, for example.
you people got a subforum for pokemon alone, can we just focus on other stuff
idk
MGS1 and how Psycho Mantis seems to say Kojima right before the hideo screen.
I don't think it's new but it's a fun little wall breaker.
little root
a little town that you begin in
