Hmm, I'd really like full rips, but I'm not sure if that's possible right now. I'll let some others comment before I decide what to do. Great job on what you managed to do though.
I think they're acceptable.
While the heart is indeed in the right place for getting the sprites, I'm not really sure that they should be uploaded even though they are good rips.
Since Paul Robertson posted the animations and worked on the game, I think it is better to ask permission from him to get the okay message since he could consider this stealing and I don't want any hassle from game companies that tSR could get (like C&D letters or stuff like that, I know it is unlikely and some companies praise here but you know in this day and age anything for profit). I don't really know myself, he posted the animations so he is sharing the work and speading the message but then someone might say that they are stealing from another source (like some people in the past posted stolen rips), not in the game. Someone in the future I would imagine will find a way to rip from the game and upload it anyway if it is possible. Who knows he might upload the sprites here himself which is a good thing if that happened.
I don't know, at least you credited the original artist which is a good thing.
That's actually a very good point, and I hadn't thought about it. I'm going to try and contact him, and ask about it. Thanks for the advice.

Greetings and salutations, ye god among spriters. I don't know how aware of the spriting community you are, exactly, but a good bit of us seem to be aware of you. And, with your recent Live Journal ...post, thingy... (I don't have a LJ account, nor do I browse the site) of Scott Pilgrim game animations, a few people have noticed, and started trying to sprite in the style. In my own excitement, I saved them all, and disassembled them into sprite sheets. I did this in an effort to spread them around to other spriters who want to try to sprite the style. Here's the Scott sheet for example: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/OmegaSoni...tsheet.png
When I posted them for submission onto a popular sprite hosting site, another member suggested I contact you, and ask your permission to have these submitted. He even suggested, albeit doubtfully, that you might be willing to submit full sheets for the characters.
So, any response is welcome, even if it's just a "No, this is not okay, please remove these sheets from the internet as best as you can." Sorry if I've caused you some inconvenience.
Thanks,
~Omega
So, there's that.
Sounds good! Just let me know who's playable, who's an enemy/boss/whatever. Thanks, man.
Ok, one more favor. I can't find a clear screenshot of this game for the life of me. Can someone help me out?
I guess I'll wait for an update to the sheets now.
It would appear I have much more work to do. Right, I'll let you guys know when I'm done
Right now, I'm working on some Ramona animations from the game, which is taking some time.
In the meantime, something I want to show to the community here in my first post:

These weren't technically a "rip". I did these the old fashioned way, which was pixel by pixel. Looking at high definition vids helps, and I strive to get it pixel perfect.
Feel free to use these however you wish, I can get the 2nd one in the original rez without the bg too.
