Nah, most time i try to deny that there are any games post SA xD Most level designs today are looking pretty interchangeable imo. Instead more love for STC.
Professor Kintobor and a failed attempt of a Badnik-Trooper
and a WIP of the springboard-turtle of GTZ.
Still lacking the spring animation and i'm struggling with this damn turtleshell. Stupid perspective>_<' someone able to help me with this one?
Wow, these are very cool. We don't get much Sonic the Comic stuff here.
Just double checking, you plan on submitting these to the site once complete right? Because god knows the Resource needs more custom section love.
Yep, but as i said, i could really need some organizing help for the level-tiles and maybe a bit help for the animated tiles.
BTW Are there more STC fans out here? Maybe my next project (when most of the STT stuff's done) is to do some graphics in the vein of
Sonic16, just with StC as a base instead of SatAM. Wouldn't be a bad idea for a Sprite Project, huh?
Ah, nearly forgot that i made some small progress^^
Only problem left is, that it still doesn't look like a turtle shell^^'
and i brightened up the hills of Robotnik Winter. I'd say it looks good now.
Edit: Just finished a new Badnik, created from some SCD spareparts
Yet another edit~~ Mockup-Time ^o^

It's beautiful
It's really freakin' beautiful
You deserve a medal!
Again, thanks a lot guys.^^
Started with Wood Battarundorf. Now i have to struggle with those damn rotating balls. I hate to animate rotations x'D
Oh and here's another mockup, not much new here except for an Atomic Destroyer screen,
but here ya go
I hate walking cycles. And I only know the bare bones of STC. I follow the Archie comic though. Any project done well is a good project.

these AREN'T rips?
Holy crap
Exactly...
BRILLIANT
Small update for Great Turquoise, made a downward loop and finished the spring-palm. Do you believe that i almost needed two fuckin days to insert this stupid spring into that stupid Chaotix Tree? oO' And yet i'm quite unhappy with the result. Could still look a lot better
This is one of those rare moments where sprites are too good for C+C.
You know, I don't think the tree looks bad at all.

I guess I could crit this. I'm not fond of how the bottom is shaded. It doesn't really look like how a spherical bottom would be shaded. I would move the light highlight inner a bit or AA it. I also think the center highlight below the eyes is too intense and needs more yellow than white. And I believe that the top in the older sprite is rounder.
Otherwise, I love all the work you've done. This is the only sprite that really bugged me.
Holy *takes a big breath* shit.
That's really all I can say. It's just awesome. I mean I've seen some other works before and yes they were awesome, (i remember one of the early sonic stages you posted from MMX), but this is just... it's good. There isn't even a word for it, it looks real. I envy those you're spriting for. No, wait, I work with one of them. xD

Is it better this way?
Yes, but I made an edit anyway. Not entirely sure how to smoothly color a sphere with a palette like this.
