I really like your design Iceman!

But battlefield, until brawl, has always been that deadly place. Dark background, actiony music, it was anything but peaceful. I thought that we would follow that trend instead. But since you have that gate there with the Smash Bros Emblem, I thought that every time someone dies, a Mii/monkey/somebody would hit it to make a bell like noise.
And where is Gary's music topic? I think we should revive it since it already has some of the songs of the characters in the first official demo release ( Not engine tests!)

On flying monkeys last post its starting to come together.
I started to work on the grass where the waterfall would stream over on the field but then this poped in to my my, is the waterfalls gonna be animated? if so should we make the field without it and add it over it leave a place holder or what?

Without animating the water it destroys the entire concept. So yes, we will have to animate. Or rather you will have to animate. I am horrid when it comes to animations.

ideas on the water source? i was thinking on the front side a sorta wall of little rocks as a barrier leading the water to the two falls (not the best idea but its the only one i got right now) , but even then the water has to come from somewhere.

maybe for the waterfall, ether have a huge water fall in the background, from the top of the screen, or just have the stage come up a little/lower the ground a little, and show water from that (like if the platform was a bridge, without it looking like one...)
