We could always just do what that MUGEN did on that fan-made Final Destination level, and put some wind effects while making the background zoom in very slowly.

Also, Iceman that's probably too many backgrounds for the level. From the way this project has been going it will NEVER get done if we have that many backgrounds to do.
He is right though, for the background, we could do stuff like this:

or this:

I think the foreground should be sprites not vectors though.
How about you plan your shit, instead of wasting your time.
Just saying.
I'm just trying to get down the general shape before I really start. I just want something everyone likes.
BTW~ I was gonna put a gigantic Smash Bros. Logo in the Middle of the 3rd one.
Maybe we can make the bottom like a glass dome, with a core inside of it! All the Final Destination stages have cores!

That's what I was thinking!
Also, when you guys say the level should look old and archaic, do you mean a bit like Sonic Advance's Angel Island?
I think the level would look splendid that way!

That's exactly what I meant. A tree here or there wouldn't hurt, for appearance's sake.

How has time been wasted.
At all.
?
Yeah, I guess a tree would be cool, and kinda fills the scenery section some more.
I hope you guys can bare with me, I'm a little slow . So I have to have enough concepts before I start stuff that's big.
@A.J.H.: ...GTFO please. The whole point is to plan, discuss, and create stages here.
I think a brick Final Destination would actually look interesting, given they were a color other than grey. I'm all for the design with the glowing smash ball and bottom though.
What color should the bricks be?
Also, maybe we could put a Pillar in the background with the tree?
Combining the glowing smash ball with the ancient looking bricks might be cool. Kind of like a lost temple with magic that has just been recently reawoken.
Brick colors could be red, maybe a more industrial influence?
How about a tan-ish color? It could look like the ruins in DKC.

I think a good golden/sandstone color would be good for the bricks in Final Destination. A pillar would be nice, too, maybe a little ways away from the tree.
All of you have different opinions. So, I'll just go with grey for now.
Oh my god it looks terrible. I guess all plans come out better on paper.
I'll try again.
Disregard my post in the other thread; size is looking good now.
