Try to put it at the same folder than tahaxan

the rom and tahaxan in the same folder? yes i already did but that message still appears

its like this:

Folder:
- tahaxan.exe
-icons folder
-plugins folder
-DS rom file

Maybe on the root Windows folder? Or windows/system folder?

Have you tried downloading a different version of Tahaxan?
Which version are you using right now?

i dont know the version of tahaxan that i got since it doesnt work. but can you give me the version of tahaxan youre using? maybe it'll work. i already forgot where (link) i got my tahaxan. thanks in advance.

There's actually several dlls that Tahaxan needs. They're all supposed to be available on http://tahaxan.arcnor.com but the website doesn't seem to be working for some reason, so here's a rar of my copy. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T8MDZW00

No, the .dll's need to be in the same folder as the executable. The roms can be anywhere.

after i extract the files inside the rom, what do i use to open them?
sorry its my first time using this method for ripping

all i see are BIN files and i extracted all of them and opened them all with tile molester but i saw no char sprites. the only recognizable sprites i saw were japanese words used in the game.

the contents of the rom are in the attached picture

The sprites are all in the arc**dat.bin files, which have a simple file structure. However you'll get nowhere even if you can unpack them, as most of the sprite files inside are compressed. I've been trying to decompress those files since the game came out, but I've only made a little headway. =/

I just checked out the Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen Rom; and was surprised that most files are actually in their "original" format... I mean no packed in just some files like in Fairy Tail.
But how can I open e.g. the .model file??? I mean how "transform" them into texture bmp or even view them?

... Do you have any Idea?

thanks for clearing up things. i have given up trying to rip the sprites thru extracting files and stuff. now if only i can disable the auto-zooming out, im willing to rip thru animget. the zooming out is my problem right now plus i cant do the attacks of the chars

I asked the same thing of Tile Molester... Even an GBA game O:

I've gone through the game five times so far (it repeats on harder and harder difficulty) using cheats of course, and I STILL haven't seen Mama Fratelli. Her sprites are in the game, but I need to know how they actually go together (her son(s) had sprites where tiles were actually offset by 1px). Does anyone know when and where she appears?

Remember, this is for The Goonies, not The Goonies II.

ok i am almost finished ripping this laxus guy's sprites (from ds game) thru screenshots and I have 3 problems (last problems and this sheet is done)



-lie down/get up from lie down
-the thunder from sky (covered by lifebars)
-charging (covered by effects)

edit: the effects of charging can be removed by having many screens and pasting over the effects. but the feet are still covered by the annoying lifebars. i have the charging sprites already fixed (except the feet part covered by the lifebars)

the lifebars cant be disabled because when i disabled the lifebars i also disable the chars themselves. they are on the same layer. I use desmume (with 3d viewer) btw
